Support Wildfire Safety in Crescent Park

Living at the wildland-urban interface is fraught with risks, as the recent NCAR and Marshall Fires so vividly spotlighted for us. Saving lives in the event of a wildfire impacting Crescent Park boils down to egress. How do we and our residents get out in the event of an evacuation during a fast-moving fire? This is the main concern of the CPCFPA, and we are in the process of evaluating our egress routes while seeking grants to make sure they are passable.

The CPCFPA is less than a year old, but we have hit the ground running. On Friday, June 17th from 6-9 pm, we will be hosting a Fun Friday Fete to celebrate our accomplishments and inform the community about our upcoming projects. Please save the date and join us! We are happy to announce we have begun to receive your generous donations and sponsorships, and we will be working with Coal Creek Canyon businesses to provide food and beverages.

Help us recognize and celebrate our sponsors thus far: Health Naturally, Tall Pines Painting and Treu Accounting and let us know if you'd like to become a sponsor, make a cash or in-kind donation, or volunteer at the event by emailing us at crescentparkfireprotection@gmail.com
