The Crescent Park Community Fire Protection Association supported a Community Slash Collection Event sponsored by United Power and Good People Tree Service which took place July 23-28. During these five days United Power’s contractor, Good People Tree Service, cleared slash from approximately 35 Crescent Park properties which amounted to approximately 422 cubic yards and 20 truckloads of chipped slash.

United Power’s generous sponsorship of this event gave Crescent Park residents the opportunity to clear very flammable slash and greatly contributed to the fire mitigation activities that are so important in making Crescent Park a safer environment.

The Good People crew was excellent, courteous to all, and worked tirelessly for five days to clear our properties.
